Izwi Advertising is an existing marketing and advertising agency, specializing in ad placement for the corporate and institutional sector. Formed in Cape Town in 2005 as an ad agency, Izwi Advertising strategically positioned itself by building strong long term relationship with its clients.

Izwi Advertising is managed and owned by Mr. Unathi Nkukwana, Mr. Mthobeli January and Mr. Sandile Mabece. Mr. Nkukwana has over eight years experience in the media production industry. Mr. Nkukwana has worked for the SABC as an Account Executive, for NM Advertising as a Media Director and at Zwelibanzi Publishing as a Media Sales Executive.

Izwi Advertising will design, build, test and deploy the ad-placement campaign by. The agency provides a seamless strategic planning, creative work and media planning and buying. Izwi Advertising’s goal is to understand our clients business so that we can prescribe solutions that deliver on clients objectives.

Unathi Nkukwana

* A founder and owner of Izwi Advertising. He obtained Sales and Marketing Diploma from Damelin, a certificate from Advertising and Media Association of South Africa, Business Introduction from Triple Trust. He’s currently completing BCom (Marketing Management) at UNISA.

* Has 6 years media strategist experience: worked as an Account Executive specializing in media planning & buying, strategic planning, client service management, script writing, translations at the South African Broadcasting Corporation and later joined NM Advertising as Media Director.

* Has done client service, media strategy, media planning & buying for the following businesses: Metcash Africa, Ntinga OR Tambo Development Agency, Eastern Cape Municipal Support Services, Department of Housing and Local Government (W/C), Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture (E/C), Razorsharp Protection Services, Key Stationers, OR Tambo District Municipality, SA Breweries (PE), RSA Parliament (NCOP) and Kei Fresh Produce Market.

Sivuyile Mazantsi (Creative Director/ Copywriter)

* A BA Communication Science graduate from Fort Hare University with post graduate qualifications in Marketing Communication and Media Studies & Journalism.

* Has 10 years copywriting experience: worked as a sport journalist at Imvo Zabantsundu newspaper (King William’s Town) and later joined ad agencies: The Agency, Berry Bush BBDO, and FCB Cape Town.

* Has written and directed commercial for the following businesses: RSA Parliament (NCOP), City of Cape Town, Metrorail, Metcash Africa, False Bay College, Distell (Viceroy, Old Buck Gin, Mellow-wood Brandy, Klipdrift Premium Brandy), Sanlam, Future growth Asset Management, Adidas, Shoprite/ Checkers and many others. He’s a founder of Umyili Communication.
